A huge thank you to everyone who supported this project with a pre-order and who has believed in me along my winding path in music. Thanks to Rachael for putting in so much effort and everyone who played and contributed to the album. I started the idea to make this record from a very dark place and it helped me find a light through the tunnel of 2020. The coyote on the album cover wandered into a bathroom in Music City Center in downtown Nashville. A wild thing trapped in Nashville for a bit. How relatable. Everything from the studio’s availability to the engineers, musicians and even song choices wouldn’t have been possible without the pandemic drastically changing life as we know it. “No Plans” is the idea that you can just relax a bit as all your plans dissolve and let life unfold. It will be alright after all. Much of this record unfolded effortlessly, at the right place and the right time. I hope this music can be a light for you as well, at least until life can resume again as normal, with tours and hugs and people gathered at venues, festivals and even some of my favorite dive bars.
